Utilizing light as an interactive element these pieces attempt to explore the consequences of illumination, and its counterpart, shadow.  Slight and almost transparent, multiple pieces of monofilament are arranged into inconspicuous compositions.   Quietly they await the light - provisional and tentative - to be shone on them.  Similar to many of our works, the central theme we continually survey is the ability for the work to exist in a state of flux.  Whether the elements on the works physically move or rotate, or if the interaction involves an outside source, we are intrigued by the potential for transformation.

Each measures 20 x 20 x 2 inches.
